About The Precious Egos

Ah The Precious Egos! Well the name is very apt for a start; as one former member put it, 'a little too near the mark'! In our brief history there have been a few line ups, a few gigs, a few artistic differences and a few departures..well what did you expect?

Our songs have been played on Radio 2xs, Pulse Radio, Wythenshawe FM, UIC Chicago, Waterford FM, All FM and Chorley (Comin in your Ears!) FM!! (Broken Window reached No 3 on The Pulse Rated Chart.)

We are currently in rehearsal and will be gigging around Manchester, the North West and The World from July 2008 onwards.

Comparisons have been made with Doves, The Strokes, The Jam, The Only Ones, The Kinks, Blondie and The Go-Betweens. One reviewer even described us as 'Classic British Indie Pop'.
